Dr Martyn Cox grew up in Devizes and attended Devizes School before studying for an Honours Degree in Cell Biology and Immunology at Plymouth University.

Martyn then studied Dentistry at Bristol University whilst at the same time obtaining his PhD into the molecular biology of virus infections and human oral cancer. He also completed post-doctoral research into Human Papilloma virus Oncology during this time before gaining his Dental degree in 1991. Martyn has been awarded numerous research prizes in the UK and has published over 40 papers in both UK and international peer reviewed journals including several oral cancer textbooks. He has lectured on oral cancer, human papilloma virus genetics and Implantology both in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Over the past 30 years Martyn has developed a specialist interest in the field of Implantology and Oral surgery with a detailed knowledge and experience in CT guided implantology. Martyn has carried our surgical placements in IV sedation and oral surgery at RAF Wroughton, Royal United Hospital Bath and is currently an Honorary Oral Surgeon at Solihull Hospital, Birmingham.

Martyn has been involved in placing, restoring and teaching Implantology for over 25 years and has placed over 5000 implants dental implants.

Martyn joined the Freeman & Rosser Team in September 2017 as our part time implantologist. During the years working with Freeman & Rosser, Martyn has achieved a 100% audited success rate including single crowns, bridges, over dentures and full arches.

He is trained in, and teaches other clinicians advanced dental implant techniques including guided bone regeneration and sinus lift techniques. He currently mentors around 50 other UK dentists and has been an implant mentor/teacher for Bredent, Bicon and Implantium Implant systems, and the VSS MSc Implantology course. Martyn is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (England), the International Team for Implantology and lectures at the Royal College Oral Surgery course and sits on the Editorial board of Special Care in Dentistry.

Martyn believes strongly in developing a personal relationship with his own patients and since all advanced implant and cosmetic treatments are carried out in house, his patients receive the ultimate in co-ordinated, logical dental implant treatments resulting in long lasting, safe treatment options. His experience both clinically and academically afford his patients the knowledge that they are in very capable hands.

Eryl Rosser qualified in 1982 at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Following her qualification Eryl went on to work at the University Hospital Dental School, Cardiff and then on to the Middlesex Hospital, London and later returned to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff to lecture in paediatric dentistry.

It was in 1985 where Freeman & Rosser was established, initially in Neyland, Pembrokeshire before settling in Carmarthen in 1989 and expanding to the existing premises in 1992 where it has flourished.

Eryl maintains her interest in paediatric dentistry alongside Endodontic and Restorative dentistry.

Besides dentistry Eryl has a keen interest in gardening, horses and the countryside.

Hanna Jones qualified in 2008 at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. Hanna completed her vocational training in Aberystwyth and has continued practicing in West Wales.

Hanna joined the Freeman & Rosser team in March 2017.

Hanna is very keen to keep up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry enabling her to continue to provide high quality treatment.

As well as providing routine dental care Hanna enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry such as tooth whitening, composite resin bonding and crowns.

Besides dentistry Hanna enjoys outdoor pursuits.

Rebeca qualified in 2012 from the School of Dentistry – Cardiff University. Rebeca completed her foundation training in Swansea and has continued to practice in the Swansea and South Wales area for over 10 years. She joined our team at Freeman & Rosser in October 2022.

Rebeca is an educational supervisor on the Wales Dental Foundation Training Programme, a mentoring programme that teaches and supports newly qualified dental practitioners.

Rebeca provides a full scope of routine dental care to her patients, offering a professional, high-quality service delivered in a relaxed and approachable way using advanced restorative techniques. Rebeca is committed to providing her patients with comfortable and successful experiences. She has a special interest in cosmetic adhesive dentistry, to include tooth whitening, composite bonding and clear aligners.

While her professional commitments keep her busy, she has a passion for the outdoors and spends her spare time enjoying travel, long walks and nature photography.

Simeon Davies graduated in 2013 from the School of Dentistry - Cardiff University. Simeon completed his vocational training in Cardiff. Having worked in NHS dentistry for a few years, he then completed a one-year training programme at Guy's Implant College in Cardiff and has continued to practice in the South Wales area for the last 8 years. Simeon joined our team at Freeman & Rosser in July 2023.

Simeon has a keen interest in his further studies to ensure he can continue to provide high quality treatment, he is currently undertaking a PG Diploma in Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry in London, as well as a 3-year part time Masters in Endodontology (Root Canal Treatment).

Simeon provides a full scope of routine dental care to his patients ensuring he meets the needs of his patients whilst offering a comfortable and successful experience.

Outside of his professional commitments, Simeon enjoys hiking, exploring the countryside with his dog and travelling to explore multiple cultures.
